the photo looks over exposed and over processed
the overall yellowish hue and flatness of the lighting are other aspects i would recommend to change.

the expresion does not say "are they ready?" though
imho this has a bit too much noise reduction..the hand looks made of plastic, and the face, although maintains some texture, does not look natural.

these are the main technical problems i see with this image:

the hair between the glasses and left eye becomes too distracting (appears to be a harsh shadow at first glace)

the glare (i supose it is glare) in the glass of teh other eye is not appealing.

shadow on the left side of faxce is soft but somehow creates like a hole that is not balanced with the roundy natural look of the other side

in general i think there are important lighting problems here.
