i really like the perspective and the 'big nose' but the grain does not work at all for me (i know! this is a grain challenge). Maybe a smaller, softer grain would have worked a little better - or a little more contrast.

i like your treatment to get this to b/w - the grain is pretty good in this image but I am not a great fan of the angle of the shot - I would either like to see more of the hotel staff or less of them and focus on the people in the chairs.

the noise in the image appears to have color to it. Monochromatic noise would likely have worked better here.

This is really cool - love the concept and the facial expression. I didn't get a chance to vote in this challenge, so here is my take:

This seems REALLY dark on my screen - I mean - really dark! This is probably why it was voted low than you expected. By the way - I love the devilish look in your outtake - maybe even more than the entry.

I think you had a lot going on with the image and your dedication to the site is appreciated!
