This is a tough situation. You have the bright back light and dark objects to the right. Next time try less exposure (faster shutter, lower ISO, or smaller aperture) and more lighting from this side (somtimes even a simple fill flash will do the trick). There is also a lot going on in the frame. If one didn't know the challenge theme, the subject would not be obvious.

Nice lighting. The blue stones against the white and yellow lemon is great. The white color of the inside of the fruit doesn't look natural though. The black background is pretty harsh. I wonder how blue would have looked.
