Week 6.jpgby bauerfan71Comment: I really like this one. The blue tone works well to give it a chilly, lonely feeling. |

Week 5by bauerfan71Comment: I'm a city girl, and slightly afraid of horses, so I'm probably not the right person to comment....Overall, this is nice. The b&w conversion is good, the framing is good. I'm thinking the vignette may be a bit overdone, because especially at the top, there are parts of the horse that are getting sucked into the void of the vignette. What about a gradient at the bottom instead? |

Rincon Mountainby GermaineComment: This is really good raw material, but I think I agree with John about the centered horizon. The water in the foreground isn't doing enough to take up so much of the shot, but the sky is really interesting. Cropping some of the bottom and then doing a levels adjustment to get some more contrast in the sky would probably make this shine. |

Duskby lunachickenComment: I still like the shot. The softness is probably the thing that brought the score down. |

Young bull mooseby ShutterPugComment: Totally cool. I like how the dark moose is isolated against the white background.
We get possums and skunks in our yard. You get moose. There's something not quite fair about that. |

Week 6by CharleneComment: Excellent! I like the pattern of the pavement leading to and from the leaf. |

Blue guy twoby MelethiaComment: This guy's going to think you're stalking him. ;-) It still doesn't look like a Starbucks. |

6.52 Wet day at marketby MelethiaComment: Wow. Lots of color! I think the lensbaby is a good idea here. It brings the stuff you want to see into focus (the woman, pumpkins), and blurs the stuff you don't want to see (the ugly plastic crates everything is in). |
