I didn't know there were so many DPCers in St. Louis. Lots of arches in this challenge, from every angle possible. I like how the ends of the arch end up on the top of the buildings, kind of like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

It took some time for me to notice what the real subject of this shot is. This is a great idea, and the fisheye effect is perfect for it. I wonder if there's some way you could make it more obvious for simpleminded folk like me.

Wow! I've lived in the desert all my life. Stuff like this just doesn't happen in my world. Very interesting shot.

I like the composition, the arch, and the feel of movement in the water. I especially like the lines leading to the city, then across to the arch. My eye keeps getting drawn to the blown out lights on the bridge though. Balancing the lights and sky is one of the things I struggle with when I do night photography too. You might be able to solve that by shooting a few minutes earlier (assuming this is evening). But otherwise, very nice.

I think this is the best of the group. In some of the others, the pose seems a bit forced. Here, she looks happy and natural. Very nice.

btw, all of them are nicely lit and composed.

Serious bummer about the DQ. You entered this before the other one was DQ'd, didn't you? It doesn't diminish the quality of the shot, though. I keep coming back and looking at it. Awesome!

A great idea, kinda surreal. The B&W conversion is well done. I think I would have cropped a little tighter. The birdcage and the window are the real focus of the image, and the rest of the left and the bottom don't really add anything. 6
