Leaves-edited.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: Excellent. You brought out a richness in the originals that I just didn't see. Even with the overlay, it still looks natural, too. |

Duoby aberrationComment: Gorgeous. I still remember the family vacation to Glacier Park when I was 12. You've captured the place perfectly. Congrats on the top 10! |

A peaceful place by IreneMComment: This is my favorite of all your images, and my only 10 in this challenge. You've outdone yourself again. Congrats! |

IMG_1283-bee-and-vineWEB-AFTER.jpgby sfaliceComment: This kind of shot is so hard, because the camera's light meter will see all of the dark green, and overexpose the white flowers. The problem is even worse with hard light like this. I think you've probably brought back as much detail as you're going to get on the flowers with this capture.
Anyway, I think you've done about as much as you're going to be able to with this shot. You've got the focus on the bee and the flower, and the dark leaves are conveniently out of the way. Maybe a bit overly sharp, but you'll lose detail if you back off on the sharpness.
One thing I've found that helps in hard light situations like this is to get a shoot-through umbrella, and use it to "shade" your subject (either with an assistant or a light stand). An umbrella will make it possible to get shots like this without having to get out of bed at 5 am to get the morning light. |

Wooly-Bridge-after-1-web.jpgby gwe21Comment: The colors are much better. Much warmer, it feels like a more inviting place. It looks like everything is rotated slightly to the left. There are a lot of vertical lines in the shot, and they all seem to be tilted at varying degrees to the left. You might pick one of the verticals in the middle and stand it up straight, and see if you like it better. Regardless, much improved. |

Cheese!by timfythetooComment: Totally fun. Aimee would probably like it better if the lips and eyes weren't so overcooked, but it's totally fun. Kind of the anti glamour-doll-beauty-pageant-girls. |

beeby yankoComment: Yup....that'll do. I especially like how you've improved the catch light in the bee's eye. |
