Life After Deathby velazquezComment: I guess there are technical qualities to the photo (I am not a good judge of that), but the imagery does not seem to connote bad â I am not seeing your point. My vote based on composition (jmho) & focus (that seems off). You obviously took time to set up the photo â something I need to learn. |

bad hair dayby funnylooksComment: well, if you got your hands out of you hair it might not be so bad. ;) I like the photo, the face shows it all - "what the hell am I gonna do now?" The hair sems out of focus, but still a good concept. |

Bad Luckby Gaby_GComment: Great idea on the "bad" concept. Given the silhouette under the umbrella, is all the background necessary...stark light, floor reflection...etc? I just think a tighter crop to imply âindoorsâ would really make the concept imagery POP because I like the silhouette much more than the rest of the photo...JMHO |

Years of Neglectby splidgeComment: First, I really like the photo - such clarity. I think you have a creative take on the challenge. Given that I believe the rusty sprocket to be the focus, I think the calipers (is that what they are, right?...the mechanism that changes the gears?)divert attention from "neglect" of the image.
Walked away, came back - I DO really like this photo! Questioned the cord and the calipers, but I still like the focus...So I thought about it and the calipers and cord are required for the change of gears, but since the sprocket is so rusty, the change of gears would (in fact) be BAD. Glad I took the time to think about it...seems to a good composition after all. :) 10! BTW get some WD-40! |

Shelterby msdoubletroubleComment: indeed! I wonder how the photo would look if you stood more to the left (my left as I look at you photo). I think the brush & bale of hay take away focus from the photo. I like the idea. 5 |
