Where in the world are you that you that you can rescue a giraffe? I'm not voting it down, just amazed at the diversity of the DPC community. I think the fence is more interesting to look at and maybe you could have waited for better pose of the animal.

For a rustic theme an older table top might have been more effective. As is, nothing seems to pop for me. Also consider: the lemon seems to have been thrown in. The challenge was for either/or/both - you didn't need the lemon.
PS - I know the tomato is a fruit, but in your arrangement, the lemon still doesn't fit. Still a pleasing photo, Thanks for the view of your work.

I am not sure of the technical execution for this...there's a spot on the apple (upper middle) that is distracting given the black outline and the splash is so uniform...enlighten me if you like.
