Aromatherapyby J-MeComment: Very warm and serene â€Â¦but the votive holder not only seems empty of fragrant solution, it also seems tilted. I love the monochromatic colors. |

Homeopathy - The Natural Alternativeby freakin_hilariousComment: Your entry to the "Alternative Medicine" challenge strikes me as being too stark and the repetition of the bottles (all in the same manner and direction) suggests a feeling of regimentation. IMHO this contradicts with the theme of alternatine medicine for healing properties. Then again you might have shot for a juxtaposition of the theme̢۪s intent?...but your title does not suggest that. --> 5 |

Photography - Guided Imageryby acoppolaComment: At first I thought this was an attempt to sneak a nice landscape into the challenge, but when I think about it...giving pause to appreciate the beauty of the sun, is indeed alternative medicine. Thank you for sharing this interpretation. |

fresh air is a great remedy for S.A.D. (seasonal affective disorder)by mitchamusComment: S.A.D. is a great theme. IMHO, I could vote higher if the skiers took time to view their surroundings by removing their goggles to appreciate more of the outdoors. This seems to be more of a "snap shot" you happened to take within the challenge time frame - still it is apparent you are thinking about the challenge themes. Take the time to set up your interpretation of the themes presented @ DPC. ---> 5 |

Energy Therapy. Viridian Method.by BrianRComment: The concept is very creative and I admire that you offered a unique point of view to the challenge. I did not know what Viridian Method was until I Googled it...before that I thought it was a shade of green.
I think you could have spent some time thinking about how to visualize your concept in a photographic sense that would appeal to the viewers emotion - but then, it's not a common theme; you had a real struggle to show this theme. IMHO it turned out to be more of a "snap shot photo" than a well thought out interpretation of Alternative Medicine. Additionally, I don't like to vote down a creative approach because the photo wasn't slick and sexy like so many we compete against...5 |

Alternative Hangnail Treatmentby slamminComment: I love the interpretation for the challenge...It's refreshingly quirky (lol), but it does seem to tilt to the right a bit. I think a different background, one that does not compete with your image, would have helped your score. |
