Moments just past sunrise.by DeniseComment: Lots of potential in this image. A couple point however. The rocks in the middle of the picture seem soft for some reason. The ground in the foreground is a little too prevalent with really nothing there for the viewer to see. Reframing with more sky and less of the foreground land mass might work.
That aside I am guessing this was a very appropriate and well executed use of HDR. (There is some haloing but that's being nitpicky). |

Hard Rock Hotelby MelethiaComment: Just out of curiousity, was there a way to shoot the front HRH with the back ones showing throw the middle of the front R? As an aside, I was expecting more door handles like these and I am surprised people didn't get it. |

A Lion at the Doorby joselluberesComment: A bit overprocessed as there is some haloing around the edges of the building. I like the composition however as it draws the eye to the pull. It would be nice if there was a bit more light on the whole pull as only the bottom is really well lit. |

Cradled Lockby ChinabunComment: lots of potential here. I'd prefer there to be more depth of field so we can appreciate the textures in the door itself more. |

Individualityby TreeFireComment: I am really really trying to find some connection to the challenge topic and I just don't see it. Please also submit an image that uses the full size allowed (800 pixels on the longest side) |

Rundle Mountain by slickwillyComment: Great shot of a very photographed location. I love how the hot springs keep part of the lake open for the ducks and geese in the winter. Congrats to a fellow Albertan on your ribbon winning image! |

Bear_Musicby whiterookComment: aaah the elusive Bear in his natural habitat. He looks quite happy and seems to have wintered well. :) |
