Love the wing span here, Mary. It looks like he is a vampire saying "Come in, my lovely, come right in." OK, maybe I'm crazy, OK, I am crazy ... but ...

And the eye on the right hand Eagle is fantastic. Good shot.

Very nice, Patio Gal!! I just chose to stay home from work today due to icy conditions ... imagine that. Glad you found my little side challenge. Jane found it too.
I just spent a good long time shooting icy branches out the window, we'll see how they look a bit later.
I really like the slight diagonal your Pine Siskin makes in the shot and how sharp he/she is and yet the background is nice and soft.

PS: Your comment about the tree entry. Of course I would have gone back and got that shot again if we had snow during the single tree week. NO ... just before and just after. I'm so very lucky.

Love this shot. It took me back some 25 years when our youngest used to get out of the crib so fast that he could beat us out of the room. He went from perfect baby to toddler terror! Love the name his brother gave him, sometimes they fit just too too well.

Thanks for the comments. Actually, Ben, the grain that you thought was sensor dust was a close flying snowflake. I guess on second thought I probably should have eliminated it. Oh well, live and learn.
Thanks Ben, and everyone, for the comments and suggestions.

The warmth of this shot really is nice, Jeffrey. Makes me feel good about the nation when I see warm happy shots like this.

Hey Waddy, you drive by photographer!! When we were in FL we saw a bunch of these guys. Nice to know that they were Osceola turkeys, not just the normal turkeys we see up north here.
Nice capture.
