I have always loved the swirl in the center of the flowers. That pattern is just so darned cool. I guess I need to agree with the group and think the spot of color could be lost.
But I'm one member of DPC that really likes flowers, and this is a nice shot.

Oh cool. Someone else has discovered this great invention. Do you keep your credit cards in it? Luckily for me, when in San Francisco, no one knew what this was. So when they picked my pocket and got some of my cash and my drivers license...the rest of the stuff stored in this thingy was safe!!

Seriously ... this is a very sensous shot. I don't know why book pages and a wood shutter would look that way ... but it does.

I really like what you've done with this shot Rob. I particularly like the fact that the circle from the key ring is obviously there but cropped. I like how the major key is partially turned and I like the positioning of the remaining keys. The shadows are dramatic ... yes, I agree, it could be Alfred Hitchock like in composition.
