Acording to the title, the focus of your image is the ring in the middle of the rose and having it dead center of the image doesn't help imo. It also looks like the focus was clear on the bg but not on the subject (the ring and the rose). Possible ways to make this image better IMO is to have the crop more up and to the right so that the rose is even not all in the shot but so that the ring is in the lower left two thirds position and having more of the satiny bg in the shot. Having the ring more in focus would also help.

This is a beautiful image but the rock or land in front really ruins it for me as an image overall. I know the reason for it is because of the challenge needing to have negative space but to me it detracts from the shot overall and doesn't add to it. Just too much black in an otherwise beautiful shot for me.

Its just "okay" to me. I can't figure what if anything would make it a better than okay image and its probably just me. Technically I don't see anything wrong with it and it does have neg space imo. Possibly making adjustments to the hue so that the bg is sort of on the reddish side would give it more drams as a dragon? Sorry, just my humble opinion.

I know its much larger probably but at first glance this looks like a car wheel or hubcap. You do have neg space the way I see it but it may have been more interesting with color imo.
