I very much like the contrast being in the subject as opposed to the actual coloration of the shot. There seems to be a bit of an oversharp look - ie the speckles on the persons face. As a nit, it also looks like you can see the JPEG compression (look closely for blocky/noisy regions in the black regions of the bandana.)

Crisp, clean shot. Certainly good texture in here, though I don't see a stark contrast. The crop looks a little odd to me: the subject is cut off while there is empty space above. Still, good work!
