Typical Postcard?by ArtifactsComment: I think the saturation is up too high on this photo -- keep the contrast as-is so it's sort of grainy and dreamlike, but tone the saturation down a bit. Just my opinion. :) |

Mountainsby sagestudioComment: I'd have cropped this so that the mountains take up more of the image and the horizon is higher. Sky is common to everywhere, but those amazing mountains are what really say Utah! |

Pointe Aux Barques Lighthouse, 1949by WesComment: I don't get if the photo was taken in 1949 or the lighthouse was built then. I really like the mood it sets, and the red at the top coordinating visually with the red at the bottom. The muted colors work well for this image. |

DPChallenge Stick projectby MariComment: It's very simple, but that's exactly what I like about it. Uncluttered and easy to read from a distance. Nice! |

Green anole (Anolis carolinensis) with dewlap extended by BudweezerComment: Sorry, my earlier comment was incomplete -- I meant Shrek because of the texture being so clean in your photo, it almost looks like computer graphics! The crispness of the foreground really works against a hazy background. Congratulations on your win, it was well-deserved! :) |
