Beautiful image, but I'd worry that the contrast of light and dark in the water would make putting type on the page very difficult, as a magazine cover.

Just for the record, this was one of my favorite images of the week, and I'm surprised it wasn't a top-ten. While maybe not the most artsy thing out there, it definitely has PERSONALITY, which a lot of the technically flawless studio shots do not. So if you're going "darnit!" when you see your score, just remember that there are a lot of votes higher than five for this picture, including mine. :)

Nicely set up! Only gripe would be if you had stood just a couple inches to the left, it would have brought the image to a more appealing angle. The edge of the bottle shouldn't be cropped out, in my opinion.

I think this photo would have worked better if you could actually see the liquid. I get what you were going for, but the liquid's not very prominent. As a general study, I like the composition, and the contrast of the bracelets with the shoe straps is a nice touch. Might want to check border widths, doesn't look even to me.

This is one of those "the title matters" photos. :) I hope someone cleaned the coin off before licking it, blech! From a technical standpoint, pumping up the saturation a bit would make the image more interesting to me, and I like the cropping as it is.

At the moment, it's water, and the challenge said NOT water. Go stand at the other end of the plant and photograph the beer. ;) I like the movement in the composition, though.

Title tells me that you were in fact interpreting the challenge. But while I'd buy "fluid" movement, I just don't get "liquid" from this.
