CCC: You are right in your comments that it is a bit cutsie, but I think the soft focus is subtly done and works quite well to give an 'etheral glow' to the people.

Compositionally, the shot seems a bit too balanced between the brown at the bottom and the green regions at the top - I think maybe less water would work well.

The way you've framed the people works well to focus on them.

Wow - very high initial impact when I opened the pictures. great colours, lots of textures and an interesting pattern that leads me around the shot.

The processing you've done makes it look very computer generated/ solarised but the underlying picture is surreal anyway so suits the treatment I think.

As a photograph it feels generally a bit softer than it might be but is a very dramatic effect. Not surprised that it tanked here at dpc but that doesn't mean its a bad image.

Its funny how many 'doesn't meet the challenge' comments this got! The almost neon green saves it and makes it interestingly abstract - but still lacking much punch or excitment. Certainly a good choice of a different angle.
