Social risingby insaneComment: Very much on topic, very emotional in its bleakness. The leading lines make my eyes anticipate where the person is going to walk, then come back to her. The b&w works for this photo. Good job! |

God's Next Door Neighbourby MorganComment: Excellent example of "Poverty". My only gripe is that the man is covered by the tree. I assume you were trying to be unobtrusive, but could you have stepped a few steps further to the left so you got all of him? |

ready to cook, but what?by shawon13Comment: Great subject - right on topic. Good emotional appeal. Good exposure of the dark inside of the tent. I like it a lot. |

Mobile Homeby tyt2000Comment: I like the subject. I like how he fills the frame and how unaware of the camera he appears. But the photo looks grainy and I would have liked to see this one in color, instead. |

rich in spiritby MR_PComment: I love how you concentrated on the positive aspect here, yet very clearly showing the "poverty" part, as well. The amount of blur is just right to let the subject stand out, yet still make out what the mess in the background is. Great shot! |

Blue windows - to keep the bad spirits outby JinjitComment: Right on topic! The only thing that would have improved this (in my opinion) would have been a human element or signs of occupancy. The dull lighting works well for the mood of this photo. |

WOW a buck, I can eat todayby ladpupmoeComment: Great idea, great set-up, right on topic. I only wish it wasn't black and white - because it is so "busy" it looks confusing and color would make it easier to see. |
