It's pretty clear, but on the harsh side. It seems to me that the contrast isn't strong enough. Without the title, this photo could represent many thoughts - "he's mad at you and not talking to you sort of thing", to "what is he looking at?" 5 Swash

A nice idea, but I have issues with the technical aspects. It looks like camera quality issues, which is a shame, but the background surely didn't need to be so confused.

I like this, but I think it would me more effective if there was a runner visible (even if you just asked someone to do it for the shot = ) I might have also tried playing with the settings to bring out a little more contrast.

I used to run track, I can appreciate the idea of running in these conditions, but I don't see any runners. Photo is not very sharp. Challenge - while I do see down to the field, I also see 1/3 sky, which says to me looking "out" more than "down". 5 Swash
