Apparitionby bryanbrazilComment: I really like this. I have something vaguely like it (shadowy figure with blue cast) that I took years before the competition so I couldn't enter it but I would have otherwise. But you can be my proxy, you have my vote (or comment, at least)! I guess you had to choose between this challenge and the silhouette challenge on this one... |

The Mystery of The Lover's Demiseby wildirisComment: Oh man, grim, but it's great. Did you stage it or did they really end up like that? It fully deserves to be added it to my favorites but I'm not sure I want to look at it too often! :) |

Mysterious Waysby LokiComment: This one has feeling for me. Where's he going? What's his plan? Does he see the rain clouds? Nice picture! |

Hauntedby rayg544Comment: The house has potential but the weather doesn't give me that feeling. You might be alluding to what happens after the sun goes down, but if that's the case I think you're alluding too much. I'm not a huge fan of the gradient border. |

Light Reading by scalvertComment: Very convincing magic here. The lighting of the book-holding girl matches the rest of the scene so it looks real. |

Mystery of the Night Creaturesby HubernComment: Holy crap, if the challenge category were "Scary" you'd have won for sure. But this certainly counts as mysterious if you know that guy is lurking in the darkness. Nice. |

Levitationby esdarbyComment: I guess I'd prefer if the bulb weren't solid white, i.e. overexposed. It does stand out against the solid black background but I think seeing the filament or at least the soft glow of a frosted bulb would perhaps be nicer. |
