This shot was taken at Cape St. Mary's ecological reserve in Newfoundland. About half day round trip from St. John's. Actually, you do not need redbull to take this shot ;-). There is a rock cliff about 50-100 metres away from the huge rock serving as a nesting site for thousands of gannets. Amazing place to practice shooting (photographically of course) fast and close flying birds.

This is close to the summit of the Gros Morne mountain. It is the hike #10 marked on the national park hiking trail guide maps. Just follow the trail and go up from the gulley and follow the arrows on the way. It was kind of steep at some places but not too bad compared to some trails in the Rockies. Sturdy hiking boots are a must though. It took about 4 hours to go up and down (at a relatively fast pace not to get cought in the rain ;-)). The guides say it would normally take 6-7 hours, if you do the whole loop. It was a pretty good hike even compared to the best ones in the rockies. Well worth the scenery...
