nice kittens! I like the shot a lot. Its one of the best of the many cats this week. I could see it in some kind of cat magazine. The only thing I don't like is whatever that is in the upper right corner. Is it the light? I like the ripped up chair and the cats are posing very well. lucky for you.

One of the top dogs! I like the choice of black and white3 for this shot and the feeling of him looking out the window. This would look better with a few of the things easily removed with some spot editing after the contest is over, such as the things in the upper left background and the wire on the floor. You captured a contemplative moment in a dogs world very well.

This certainly is a cliche shot! Of course, therefore, it is quite good. Well exposed. I think it would be interesting to crop this to a closeup of the top of the cactus only to the right border, it kind of looks like a man with a camera hanging around his neck. lol. nice job!

This is the cutest cat shot this week. I like the softness of it and the white light, which some people might disagree with. I think it shows the contentment of the cat as he bathes in the sunlight. Wonderful shot!

This is my favorite flower picture this week (this was not an easy decision). I like the composition, colors, and fact that there are a group of flowers and not just one set up under perfect conditions. Excellent job.

This shot really caught my attention and kept it. Very different from the rest. I like the contrast, especially on the creases in the white shot. I very nice shot. My only possible suggestion is to get rid of the red border, I don't think it's needed and draws away from the firecracker. 8

I really liked this cat shot. It is one of my favorites in the challenge. I like the composition and the facial expression. You're choice of levels and contrast make it look like a pen and ink drawing. Very artistic. 8

I think I know who you are, since you posted in the forum about this, although suprisingly there were two of you that lived in the area. I think this is a super photo for this challenge. It made me laugh then smile. the perspective is nice and makes you follow the trail of top hats into the solid blue night sky. Did he see his shadow? 8

cold, harsh colors and composition blending with a soothing cool tone make this photo one of my top choices this week. The simplicstic elegance is enticing and contemplative to behold. I would like to know where this is. The only thing I would have changed is the shadow of the pole closest to you that isn't visible. I find it disturbing to the eye. I would crop it out or have gone back at a time when the shadows were angled differently, perhaps to show more of the one from the first visible pole. Excellent job, 8.

My top rated sunset this week! It may help that I am from NY, but even for other viewers, I think the statue of liberty and what it represents is a lot more powerful a silhoutee than pom trees, houses, and bushes. I like that you got the bird in the photo as well and the cranes or whatever in the background give it a very interesting feel. They make me think of strange mechanic giraffes and make me question the meaning of beauty and liberty in our great country. I might have cropped out the upper parts of the sky and the water on the bottom to get rid of the lightest whites as well as give it a nice widescreen look. Excellent job, 9.
