Interesting.....normally, this is a shot where the whole butterfly would be displayed in a;ll its yellow and black finery to go with whatever radiant flower it's perched upon, but I do like the desaturation and crop. Very nicely doen and a 7 from me.

As one who has tried to capture lightning many times over the last three decades, you have my utmost appreciation and admiration for this truly spectacular shot.

No gratuitous 10, but IMNSHO a truly well earned, and honestly given 9.

Its technicals, composition, processing, and just all 'round presentation even showed in its thumbnail.
