Day Thirteenby Bear_MusicComment: You did very well with capturing the details in this. I think bright yellows/oranges are difficult to get right. I also like the dark area of background at the tip of the flower. |

day12.jpgby superdaveComment: Vinca - one of my favorite flowers. The flowers are very cloud-like. It's as if they are morphing into each other. The spots of color add interest, as do the water drops. I like this a lot. Good work. |

Floral Day 12by JeniYComment: I like the POV enhanced by the vertical crop. The background works well in providing some interest without competing for attention. Very cool how some of the petals are folded in. |

Floral Day 11by JeniYComment: The shape of flower reminds me of an old-fashioned sunbonnet.
The "graininess" of this processing brings out details that probably wouldn't show up, otherwise. |

Geranium Budby ElaineComment: Excellent lighting really plays up those tiny hairs. Good contrast against the black background. You might want to clone out those little spots in the black. |

Day 12-~After the Rain~by annigComment: Yup, the water drops look great. Maybe a tad too bright, can't see the details as much as I'd like. I like tight crops, so I would probably take out some of the negative space, too. |

Lavender12a.jpgby motherleeComment: This is a lovely composition with all those vertical lines. It would have a lot more impact if you increased saturation, contrast, and/or levels. Then the shallow DOF would be much more apparent to the viewer. |
