I think the way the cropping rests right on the edge of the cat's chin makes this feel a little akward, but I know how difficult it is to try and get a cat still enough to take a shot. Maybe it wasn't possible to get a better crop. The same goes for the angle of the picture - with the shallow DOF, it would be nice to have the opposite eye in slightly more focus. Having one eye beautifuly focused and the other totally blurry looks a little startling, IMO. But for all I know the cat wasn't cooporating. Just a thought. :) Other than those two things, this is a really, really lovely image. I love the dramatic shallow dof and the colors and rich contrast are superb.

Terrific - I love how the tree isn't bare. The little clumps of leaves (or whatever they are) give the image a nice contrast and texture. Also, I actually like the way the white parts of the images are blown out, because they're blown out so smoothly, giving the whole photo a sort of silky irridescent look. Very beautiful.

Well done - I think everything is perfect. The contrast is just enough that the image is clear, but the soft stillness of the fog is still retained. The tones are perfect.
