Jessby kgerendaComment: Interesting use of lighting. I actually like the blown splashes of light. I think if the image quality were just a bit sharper, you would have something superb here! |

A second to rememberby narcisaComment: This is good, well composed, the only problem is that the exposure is too bright. Fixing that will give you a very nice image. |

Alexisby NikonJebComment: The lighting looks a bit harsh here. I personally do everything I can to light the subjet naturally and avoid the direct flash. Also, the quality of the image seems a little fuzzy. Good try though! :) |

The Hungry Horseby dippydazComment: I personally might suggest moving the camera down even further still, so that it is completely level with the horse's head. The tones and soft focus here though, are very, very beautiful and give the image a lovely quality. |

Cottonwood Funby vtruanComment: I wonder... if there were any possible way to somehow get closer to the child hugging the tree, without loosing the impression that the tree is enormous... If we could see the child's face closer, maybe it would give the image a more dramatic, emotive atmosphere. Just a thought. In any case, the wonderful tones and contrasts bring out the texture of the bark very nicely. Good work! |

Branching Outby bobonacusComment: This is fascinating. The clouds in the sky almost look a bit like the tree tops in summer. A minor nitpick is the edge of the roof in the top left-hand corner. It's a little distarcting, and I would suggest croping it out. |

Blondby JuliBocComment: Something about the quality or focus here seems a little soft. Perhaps that was on purpose, but I'm not sure because the stuffed animal seems to be in sharper focus than the boy. In any case, this is very cute, although a different, more interesting composition might help give the photo more impact. |

And dances with the daffodilsby cireComment: Lovely! I really love the angle which you shot this at, as well as the motion blur. The sepia works very well, too. Normally you would see a field of flowers like this in color, so this is an interesting and unique change. At first I didn't really like how the highlights were blown out... but the more I look at it, the more I think it actually helps create a light, airy, spring-like atmosphere. Very beautiful! |

vanishing towerby leniaComment: The lighting here is very interesting, the way it only curves around one edge of the subject. I think it works well with the sepia. My only suggestion would be to create a more interesting composition or a more dynamic camera angle. Otherwise, this is good! |
