final resting placeby fisheyeComment: The lighting is a little harsh - it might be a good idea to wait until a different time of day, such as evening or morning. ideally a cloudy, over cast day would be best for a nice soft light, but perhaps you want that lovely blue sky. |

brokenby KelliComment: This is just a thought, but I wonder how this might look if you could see more of the hand, and if that white strap on the bottom were out of the photo. It's a little distracting. I like the concept here though - the details of the dirt and the wrinkles on the skin are awesome. It's just that the composition is a little weak. |

Fallen Heroesby Wenders11Comment: Beautiful and well-done. You chose the perfect time of day to do this in - the golden light catching the dew on the grass, and the fog in the distance is lovely. |

Fallen Brothersby dssagent88Comment: IMO the composition is kind of cluttered and confusing. My eyes aren't sure were to rest. I think it might help if the man were in a different placing, and not cropped in half. Perhaps place him off to one side of the photo, and have him get a little closer to the camera, and place him at an angle where he is looking at the monument but you can see his face in the picture... Just a thought. |
