UFOby sudhiComment: I think the blue is just right! I have a feeling most DPC voters simply aren't too big on abstracts like this. It's very interesting! |

res_img_4786.jpgby CitadelComment: The colors are really beautiful here - I love the pastel green. The only thing that might have made this better is if there was more lighton the butterfly. Perhaps...? I don't know for sure. The dodging tool in Photoshop would be cool to to experiment with on that. Beautiful shot! :) |

Stopby CitadelComment: Needs a little more composition, maybe, but I love the bold contrasts! Desaturating all but the red channel was a really cool idea... |

Archby CitadelComment: Well, I see ou've been bombed by comments, but I guess I'll leave one to! :) This is cool - I like the bold shilouette and the colors - the sun peeking through is awesome! The dramatic sky is also really neat - I love the way it fades into complete black! I might suggest a slightly different point of view maybe. The composition isn't all that exciting here, and there are a few slight distractions, such as the lamp. Otherwise, it looks great to me! |

Into The Sunby shanelighterComment: Hmmm, painful score there...I'm not entirely sure why it did so poor. I might suggest trying to get some more interesing composition, maybe. You could aso perhaps try to isolate a specific subject a little more - for example, next time try shooting just one branch in front of the light, and playing around with the composition. This has good potential though, I like the colors and the black shilouettes - it's a very interesting shot! :) Message edited by author 2007-04-17 20:50:06. |
