Inevitable Discoveryby ImagineerComment: I can't say this one speask to me. In a way I see the humor, but on a personal note, this image just doesn't grab me. What is for next month, the same kid with a bong pipe? A gun?
Pciture wise it is decent. Focus is on the finger, not the face and I am guessing that is by design. If so then I think you captured it well as it is the basis for the title. Lighting in the back is bad though with bright spots that are distractors. Lighting on the face is good but I wish I could see the eyes more. the shirt is of course a distraction as I have to read it, but with this kid I find it to be true.
Hide the guns and the drugs, as his shirt says, he is getting worse......6 |

Thomasby robgs57Comment: I like this. The photo has the feel of a magazine article, something I would see in National Geographic about an island in the Pacific. A good on location portrait. Color, lighting and detail are all great. Only think I would have liked to have seen different is cropping the right so the hut post aced as a natural fram on the right the way the tree does on the left. Still a great photo and worth every bit of the 9 I am giving it. |

Joeyby JeremyFleuryComment: Whoa, color looks way off on this. Was it intentional to have this red cast? If so, I would have liked to have seen it without the cast. Cropping some off the left could also help. 5. |

Not now..by lowonenergyComment: Great look on his face. Woudl be better if the shadows didn't drown out the eyes so much. 6. |

In Your Eyesby MissyKayComment: I don't like how the bw and lighting has taken the focus off of her eyes. I would like to see this in color where the color of her eyes can draw you in. Or perhaps some curves adjustments to brighten her eyes and make them more appealing. 6. |
