Sunrise at Eternity Beachby chaliceComment: I wish that there were more details in the shadows. The soft hue in the sky is lovely, but the darkness I can't get beyond. Still a nice photo. 6 |

Tummy Shotby LadyKComment: Great lines on this image. Can't say that I would have noticed the fingernails as the belly button serves as a great focal point Excellent capture. |

The ride of your life!by ScapeshotsComment: I have to say, that this is an excellent image of a F-15E Strike Eagle from Seymour Johnson AFB, North Carolina, or as we call it, Stinky J. The only drawback that I noticed right off the bat is since you reveresed the direction of the plane the SJ on the tail doesn't look right. Being in the AF, I saw that and had to look twice to figure out that the SJ was reversed in order to realize the plane belonged to Stinky J. Still this is a phenominal in flight capture of this deadly machine of war. I love the afterburner effect off the tail fo the plane and the sense of motion is second to none!
I can tell you as a kid I always enjoyed the Miramar Air Show. In 14 and a half years of being in the Air Force, I have yet to see an air show that was as top notch as the Miramar show was. Of course it is a shame that they had to move Fightertown USA from Miramar Naval Air Station to Fallon, Nv, but life goes on. The crying shame of it all was when it went from being Miramar NAS to Miramar MCAS. Soemthing about that just isn't right.

Dragon Flyby LadyKComment: Very nice macro shot here. Looks like you could have placed the focus point a little better, but this is still a fine image. |

Possibly if the Air Force had F-14's and aircraft carriers. I think it would have fit as a Navy ad better than an Air Force ad though. Still a great capture. |

Ice Hotelby QuigleyComment: Wow Max, this is a very compelling image. I think your processing fit sit very well. Just looking at this photo makes me appreciate my hard Korean bed even more. The wife and I always grip about it because it is so hard and uncomfortable, then this picture puts things into perspective that we don't know what hard and uncomfortable really is.
Thank you for opening my eyes back up. Here is to a new favorite. |

Seriously Funnyby Blue MoonComment: Creativity here is insanely awesome. Wish you would have scored better, but I have a feeling that the time for an image like this is coming soon!
You've come so far in photography since you took this shot that I a also willing to wager that a recreation of this shot from you would score much better than this one did. Message edited by author 2008-05-23 11:57:59. |
