8 Secondsby J_EhratComment: Wow, that's an amazing capture! The lines on the ground work in its favour too - the photo seems to be bursting out with energy. |

Not a Care in the Worldby drwranger7Comment: Wow, that's really cool :)
In terms of the emotional impact of the picture, it's just perfect. The closeness, the body language, the expressions on their faces - everything conveys being totally lost in each other.
However, I would've altered the post-processing in the following ways:
the white line at the top is distracting, so I would've gone for a tighter crop, also possibly putting them at the right-hand side rather than in the centre, to make the composition more interesting. Increase contract, increase saturation to bring out the colours. Also, their faces are in the shadow, and since it's an advanced editing competition, you can use dodging and burning to shift the focus of the picture - lighten their faces and darken the background. Unsharp mask and Neat Image tend to be the final touches - it makes the picture nice and clear, and their skin more smooth.
Hope you don't mind the edit:

Cover Girlby JudiComment: Wow, that's a fantastic image. The colours are jumping out towards you the way adverts and pop culture constantly does. And the image conveys a mass of social commentary along with it - the girl's thinness, the make-up, the boots, trying to grow up too quickly... And the horrible magazine cover with a girl with glasses and a big sign saying 'Ugly'...
10, and going into my faves. |

Dora Dollhouseby Sting11165Comment: I like the boy's eye in the corner. I'm just not sure if this is really pop culture. (unless there was a massive childhood trend that I just happened to miss out on) |

Skateboarders breakby hajekaComment: I think the light is coming in from the wrong angle for this, I'd prefer it if the trainer wasn't in the shadow. |
