c r a s hby PurpleFireComment: I really like the contrast. The black rocks makes the white water really stand out but it does look to much like a paper cut out. The sky and water has great texture. This one has serious potential. |

free study VII out takeby PurpleFireComment: Originally posted by annasense: not crazy about the man looking at the camera... this looks like an intimate moment, one that he should be involved in, but it instead just looks like a nudity-for-the-sake-of-nudity shot... not crazy about the underwear label staring at me, either. i do like the lighting... but all in all, it seems a little awkward. |
This was my feeling also. I thought the man didn't look like he was to interested in the woman. She looks clingy and he looks like he'd rather be somewhere else. The underwear grabbed my attenton right away also. I like the fact his thumbs are thru the belt loops. The lighting and tones are lovely. I like the curve of her back and the breast just peeking below her arm. |

Bubblyby MrXpressComment: I had to look at this one for a while to really soak it all in. I really love the shapes of the reflections on the droplets. I am guessing the background texture is a windex cleaning cloth?? This almost has a retro feel to it but I cannot tell you why. |

"Swirly"by BosborneComment: that looks like a snowcone. I'm guessing its colored sugar crystals.
I love the colors and textures but I think the angle is a little odd. Its still interesting to look at. |

Shade of the old oak treeby justamistereComment: This reminds me of my week each summer with my grandma. We would set under a huge oak tree with 5 gal buckets of green beans for snapping for the canning jars. |

Morning at the Beachby wendynicoleComment: Interesting. This takes some studying to see the rule of 3rds. But once you see it, you get it. Here is how I see it. The subject is the splash of water that hits the end of the concrete. There are 2 main lines dividing the image visually and they are perfectly at the 1/3rd positions. The horizon and the line of shadow under this first broken piece even though it isn't seen all the way across. I think this is one of the best examples of this challenge so far. |
