Marion, this is a fascinating collection of images. I love that you ended it with the human touch. The abstract images are what appeal to me the most. Really well done.

Don, there are lot of images in your photo essay and I noticed that I haven't looked at some of them earlier. Of the ones I had seen earlier, looking at them in the context of a challenge topic, I confess there was quite a big difference between the scores. Partially that is due to the evolution of the voters taste :) One thing I notice however, that as a collection of images they work much better than as stand alone pieces. Thanks for sharing and doing what you do.

I loved this essay and as Ubique says, it's going to be enthralling for DPCers who are not as lucky as you. It was indeed. I suppose in the same way it's probably exotic when we have to stop for the reindeer (in Lapland at least). I particularly liked image numbers 3 and 6. It feels like you were taking quite a risk getting so close. Thanks for sharing!
