Appreciationby jrjrComment: The positioning of the setting sun behind the surfboard produces dramatic backlighting for this image. My only suggestion for improvement would be to move a little to the right to include all of the surfboard and thus, move the main subject off center. |

Just before dawnby walblandComment: Overall the image is very well done and has no technical shortcomings. My one suggestion for improvement would be to zoom in on the buildings on the right and make them the focal point of the composition. As presented, the treeline doesn't offer much of a focal point. 7 |

Quality Timeby rbennyComment: The backlighting makes this image very unique in this challenge. This image deserves to place well and if it doesn̢۪t, it won̢۪t be from any technical shortcomings of the image, just personal preference of the voters. |

Breakwaterby nordicgirlComment: The coloration and textures in this image are very interesting and well done. I wish I could see more of the end of the break wall, as it to a few moments to see that the wall has more dimension to it. |

The Fishing Poleby lifternessjtComment: I like the setup of this image, as it is very serene. The greens are slightly over saturated for my tastes. No offence intended if the color of the grass is accurate. It̢۪s just my opinion regarding how it appears from my vantage point. |

A Candid Kissby btuckComment: This image is well executed and its placement in the challenge will be determined by how the voters connect with it and not with any technical shortcomings. |

End of a Long Dayby RolandBComment: A one of a kind entry for this challenge. To bad they weren't facing towards you for this group photo. |

A new look at an old friendby jdannelsComment: The mood of the fog and the water around the rocks in the foreground is mystical. The bright light below the bridge on the right is a bit bright. I really wonder if there was room enough to move slightly to the right to block the light with the rock face at the base of the bridge. |

Dam worker on a breakby C-FoxComment: Ok fess up, is it real or is it taxidermy? Either way, it is a unique entry for this challenge. |

Ready to skim!by no__1__hereComment: An excellent b&w conversion. The only thing that could have improved this shot would be to see glee on his face from the fun he must be having. |
