A nice piece of abstract art. Basic editing hurts you a little here, as the dark spot on the far left could not be cloned out.

Don't stop the beat!

Comment:
If this were the strip from a real heart monitor, the beats would be continous along the length of the paper and not across. Overall the lighting and composition are pleasing with the exception of the bright spot in the middle.

A nice image but the papyrus has no more appeal/pop then the green background behind it. I'm really not sure how to improve this.

I like this image but there are some conflicts between the items used within the composition. The wax used to seal the letters conveys times long ago while the writing on the ink bottle are from the present. I think the compositon would be a little stronger if both sealed letter were on the top shelf. this would reduce the amount of negative space at the top right corner. You could also reduce the negative space if you used a shorter candle. This would allow you to crop off part of the top lid.

Posters don't really convey stationery to me. If a message was spray painted on the wall, it would better fit the title. The image is well done and communicates the raw aspect of the streets.

Message in a Bottle

Comment:
The message and the bottle need to be in better focus to make them the focal point of the image. As presented, the wood in the center of the image is the focal point.

The depth of focus in this image could use a little adjustment. I really want to read the entire message but can't. This forces me to look to the flower for a focal point and it isn't.

The colors of the pencil holder need to pop more for this photo to be effective. The background not being really black doesn't help this issue and the black frame even more so.

If the note was in better focus it would help the composition considerably. I think the cropping at the top is a little tight as well when compared to the negative space at the bottom.

Looks Like I Need To "Sharpen" My Pencils!

Comment:
Your title makes me want to look at the tips of the pencils to see if it is true. However, the focus varies across the tips and I'm keep searching for where the picture wants me to focus. Also, the compostion is a little out of balance, as the pencil on the left is cropped and the one on the right isn't.
