I realy like this image. It brings back many memories of childhood or the aching feeling you get when you hear kids screaming in the park when they have dropped their ice-cream. The image works really well in black and white, and as previously mentioned adds a nostalgic feel to it. The whites look slightly blown out, but nothing that affects the image in any major way. The cone and the textures of the background all look pefectly sharp to me, and the contrast seems fine. Good luck with the challenge :)

A well executed classy capture. It has a very professional look to it, like something you would see in a cooking book or tourist brochere. The lighting seems perfect to me, the image is well composed and the objects in the image all feel well balanced.

A great expression and capture that you've caught. Lighting seems almost spot on, the colours of the carton add a touch of boldness to the image. I'm unsure about the background though, is it light from a doorway or the back of a chair or something? It might have looked more dynamic with just a plain black background...just a suggestion :) Overall I really do like the image and can see it doing well. Good luck!

Wow! A beautiful and touching image. The eyes are amazing, very feline like. The image overall is very well composed, the colours feel well balanced and all blend extremely well. I feel not only is it the photogenic subject that makes this picture but also the little subtle factors. The touches of ice-cream on the nose and around the lips are more realistic to the other entries where the models face is plastered with ice-cream. My very fave for this challenge, all the best :)
