Forest of Deanby bobonacusComment: Very nice capture and control of the light but for me it a bit too "busy" compositionally. I'm not sure where my eye should go as the image seems to dead-end at the fence line for me. |

Januaryby darnokComment: Lovely light, well seen and captured. My only nitpick is that the white of the water seems a bit blown-out |

Wildcat Waterfallby rlewisComment: Beautiful shot, well captured and I applaud the effort to reach the spot. I have to concur with some of the comments about the framing. I like foreground elements that frame a shot but these seem to compete with the main subject a bit. Nice exposure and PP. |

From the yardby PrashComment: I actually like the dabbled light on the foreground but compositionally I feel I need to see a little more of the flowers. I've always been a fan of using the foreground to frame an image but it almost feels like the foreground and tree are accidental in this shot (I'm sure they're not by the way). I guess it leaves me feeling like you just didn't commit to using the elements completely. It's a fine shot as is. |

Useless Anchorby dainmcgowanComment: Beautiful PP and BW conversion. I really like the textures and tones and the composition is spot on. |

Winter-By-Moonlight.jpgby IvoryComment: Very well done. I have to admit that I'd like to see more details about the shot and the PP though. From the clarity of the waves in the background I'd guess this wasn't a very long exposure which makes me wonder what the ambient light was really like? |

SSOC4124-Edit.jpgby ikopanasComment: Nice job with the edit. You improved the richness of the shot significantly.I think it could benefit from a little leveling of the horizon. I don't mean this as just a technical nitpick. I think the leveling would also help the angle of the dock. I feel that the leading line of the dock now is a bit off-balance. |

Red Riverby StructorComment: Beautiful light and balance of colors captured and post processed. Great composition as well. One of my favorites of the month.
*Nit Pick Alert* I'm not so sure about the border on this one. The image stands so well on it's own that it's only a minor distraction. I like an equal border or even the cinematic top/bottom effect but the thin side border with the thicker top/bottom isn't working for me. |
