Very nice. I'm bumping this up from my original vote. I appreciate the composition as cropped but I wonder if you lost something with so little water showing. I only say this because the colors in the water making a quasi-rainbow might have been more interesting than the negative space above. I still give it an 8 as is.

Not sure about this one. I don't know if it's the composition or mid-day sun but the image just doesn't pop for me. Perhaps more horizontal / softer light or different crop would have helped.

I appreciate the motion of the shot but too much of the exposure is blown-out out for me. Could you have stopped down the apeture more while keeping a slow shutter? If not maybe a neutral density filter could help you slow it down further.

Just doesn't say urban or landscape to me.

Comment:
I think this type of night aerial shot seldom translates well from what the eye sees to. what the camera sees. If it were taken with some remaining light in the sky (dusk or dawn) thereΓΆ€™s a higher chance of getting something with visual appeal. For me this comes off as just points of light on a dark canvas. Keep on shooting!

For me the foreground is too distracting. My eye is drawn to the plants not the reflection.

I'm not sure that many will realize that Arthur's Seat is "located in a city" or that this meets the challenge description quite literally. However, without the title there is little or nothing urban about the shot. For me, you met the technical description but you missed the spirit of the challenge.

I like the long shadows. Coming back to it after voting I'm now not sure about the exreme contrast though. I wonder if some of the lost detail in the shadows might have made this even better. Nice shot overall.

Very moody shot. I like the subtle lighting and muted colors. One of my highest in the challenge

A difficult capture I'm sure. I think you balanced the brightness of the towers with the detail in the shadows well. Very nice.
