Ocean´s viewby bcncrazyComment: The lines are very subtle here but here nonetheless and they do a good job. I would like to see the horizon level, though. |

Cloudlife by xertionComment: This definately makes use of the "leading lines" concept. Nice image, good exposure, a focal point the grabs the eye BECAUSE of the leading lines. Nice job! |

Meditating about lifeby jenaromComment: This is what I think "leading lines" is all about. The lines lead your eye to the subject of the photograph and you've accomplished that here! Great job! |

The Weakest Linkby rmahanComment: Thanks to all who commented and voted. I learned something from each of the comments and I do appreciate them! I enjoyed making and sharing this image. My camera is in the shop for the next couple of weeks (for a through cleaning) but I'll be back in the challenges as soon as possible.

Aloneby dadas115Comment: Although it seems a little grainy, that adds to the atmosphere and to the feeling of despair which you've captured quite nicely. |

Collateral Damage by ndsComment: Quite effective in your framing and subject placement. Says, "despair" to me! Very good! |

Bluesby nathaliedooComment: You've captured an image which yells of dispair (to me, anyway). Nice job! |

My newspaperby Crafty SueComment: Gee, I've seen this same image in person several times recently. You've captured a funny view of despair! |

Oh No! And he'll be here in a minute!by Harz_JoergComment: Your title is interesting. I immediately thought of an older woman who is no longer able to see or to hold a thread and needle still long enough to get the two together or even to hold the needle steady enough to sew. Either image --- my first thoughts or those suggested by your title --- are items of despair to me. You've met the challenge very well here and the selective focus is quite nice. |
