Looks like a Washington, DC subway station. I like how the lines lead the eye in to the photo. I do think the black bar (whatever it is) is kind of distracting though. Sort of cuts the photo short and stop the eye abruptly.

I like this photo. I think it's a nice portrait photo. The background choice is a bit distracting but I still think it works because the subjects are better lit than the background is. I would have enjoyed this photo more though and I think it may have scored better had we been able to see both of the girls eyes.

Very nice shot. I really like the lighting in this shot. Nice and bright in the areas that need highlighted but nice shadows where needed. I would have liked to have seen the white in the bite of the apple a little brighter but that doesn't detract from this photo.
