A very nice shot, the choice of black and white and a minimal subject matter is a great decision in submitting for this challenge. The way the dragonfly blends into the stick it is on works well in this one, where in another challenge, one might seek some distinction between the two. It just works well, all elements together. This was a hard one to judge. Although the use of color, light and subject in this one is minimal, and I love the overall concept, I just find the smoke itself to have too much movement in it, drawing my eye into discovering all of it's details, rather than be at rest. I love the photo, Great job from the 'Great Job Baggie'!

Very pretty. Although there is some movement in this photo that takes away from the attempt at stillness, it's not severe. The lack of color is used brilliantly to keep color from being a visual distraction. Great job from the 'Great Job Baggie'!
