A very nice photo. Great use of tone and color, however, the eye is drawn into this details of this photo, disturbing it's quiet atmosphere. Too many trees, too many leaves, my eye wants to roam over all of it. Still, a gorgeous shot!

Although this photo has minimal color, there is alot of interest that draws the eye all over the photo... The movement of the two subjects, the movement of the waves, just makes it overall busy to the eye.

I really like this photo, but it is not as calm to the eye as I'd like. It is simply too busy, although I know the water is still, and the lillypads are unmoving, just visually, it is distracting. It causes the eye to search this photo for all of the details contained there-in, meaning that it is visually not calm.

A very pretty photo, and the subject matter is very minimal. However, there is just too much there, too many leaves, too much graininess in the boards, for it to be truely a quiet photo. It is very pretty though!

I think this is a very nice shot, however, to my eye, although the water is calm and still, there is too much going on here that distracts my eye from the calm parts. The rocks are craggy, teh small dirt mound in the middle distracts, as does the grass to the left side of the photo. A nice photo, but just not quite there.
