Big Nite Tonite!by basia03Comment: The image is oversharpened significantly (see the top edge of the cucumber in particular). Also, a self portrait is something that tries to give a message of some kind, illustrate to the world what your personality is like. Do you really want to convey the message of being a superficial health-freak? That is what the image conveys to me, in any case. One final thing; I know it is pointless and has nothing to do with the challenge, but "nite" is spelt "night". (2) |

Self of Selfby d95vetteComment: Cirtainly unusual, but I think it doesn't work too well, for some reason. The white space on teh left is a bit odd, perhaps. Not sure. (4) |

Me In Black & Whiteby DavidLevinComment: This picture makes it look as if you identify strongly with those bottles on your dresser.. Unless that was intentional, i think the picture was a bit of a miss, I am afraid. (3) |

I'm getting old.by jimsappComment: A hovering head.. Sorta kinda creepy. Tilting your head slightly forward or backward would have killed those reflections in your glasses, might be worth considering. Nice sharpness and lighting, though. (6) |

Loving eyesby kiwinessComment: I am sorry, but it woudl appear that you have seriously overdone the sharpening on this one - the shadows around the hands really distract fromt he image. (4) |

Black Cat on Black velvetby ladpupmoeComment: What a gorgeous creature, and an imagitive capture! Incredible that you managed to get some definition out of the fur as well. Imho, it falls slightly outside of the challenge, but I am going to give it a 9 anyway, because the exposure of shots like this is so #/¤#/&¤ difficult. |

My Ladyby Firstrich1Comment: Pretty, but this seems mire like an underexposed portrait than a low-key one. Sorry. (3) |
