Winter Wonderlandby philupComment: I'm assuming this is infra-red, if not, then you succeeded in emulating that feel/style. I like the use of leading lines to get the eye to the trees. It almost looks like an alternative surreal world. Very pretty and appealing to the eye. The blue is an excellent contrast to the white. |

Reflections of Winterby pearlseyesComment: A classic image. Great symmetry and reflection. The slight curve of the shoreline gives the impression of a slight unevenness, but it's hardly a distraction. Should score well. |

Three Spirits Walk The Waterby Qwest30Comment: There doesnt seem to be a specific focal point and so my eyes wander around the image and my interest isnt really held. The idea is good but you need to isolate something more so that it becomes the focal point - whether it be form, movement, color, or light. |

Some like it Hotby graphicfunkComment: I'm viewing this as product photography. The concept is good and has interest, energy, and color - all good with advertising. I'm not sure if it's the type of text on the bottle but it almost seems blurry. If that is the product you're trying to sell then that has to be the sharpest/strongest part of the image, unfortunately that doesnt seem to be the case here. Overall the concept and impact is good, but the execution could do with some work. |

spring tideby tazzaComment: The first thing I noticed was the shape and pattern in the nearest tide ebb. It appears to have movement and that helps give the image a little more energy and interest. The black and white conversion looks a little dull and flat on my monitor. I almost feel like you could have recropped it to not include the horizon/sky in order to put more emphasis on the contrast between wave and beach as that is where all the interest is within the image. |

Cardiff Castleby postoakinversionComment: Ah, my home castle! Looks pretty good here, you did a good job. I like the way you've caught the light on the side of the keep. Looks just like the postcards. I miss it :( |

Actually the grass blades are covered in about 2 inches of ice and that reflected the color of the sky. It was quite amazing to see. |

Journey's Endby zarniwoopComment: I realise there is more to the scene than the tomb but it seems to be the focal point. As a focal point it is very centered, which makes the image feel very static. A different composition may have helped with the impact more. I do like the transition between dark and light and feel it adds a metaphorical something to the shot. |
