What we do without it?by Prime_TimeComment: It's a good idea but there are a few technical issues. The focus is a little off, the white balance looks off (the yellow cast), and the composition isnt so good with the half cropped out clock and the negative space on the right and not on the left. Cropping it above the clock face and having more negative space above the bulb may have helped. |

Choicesby adineComment: Good lighting, focus, and composition. Nice mix of textures too. It meets the challenge well, and I could also see it as part of an advertisement but it lacks the 'wow' for DPC. |

I'm Meltingby paynekjComment: Cute wizard of oz reference in the title, I like the spotlight lighting effect, and the whole idea is kinda neat too. There is a little noise in the image and the top part of the chocolate is a little out of focus. Having the light a little more forward so the writing part isnt as dark and trying to get an even lighting over the chocolate may have been good too. |

swirls of chocolateby MightyMouseComment: Good idea and it must have taken you ages to set up! Unfortunately the technical side isnt quite there as there is significant noise and the quality isnt that great. The uncovered area on the top right is a little distracting too. But I love the idea! |

when worlds collideby BrennanOBComment: Interesting idea, although it's funny that Cadbury is actually distributed by Hersey in the US. Also a powerman 5000 song so that's always a plus! Anyways.... You did a good job of getting the white background, the depth of field is good as everything seems to be in focus, the composition is chaotic but goes with the concept you were trying to convey. Not a bad shot. |

Before and Afterby maharrisComment: I like the vibrant red of the strawberry and the green looks sharp, fresh, and vibrant too. Personally would have preferred a little more white space on the sides of the shot to balance it up a little, and the water droplets on the plate are a little distracting. |

The Chocolate Platterby NodeComment: I actually like this despite seeing a few technical issues that arent the best. The main issue is the backdrop used, you can see the crumples and texture in the cloth, although part of me wonders if that was intentional. I like the green, it adds a nice dash of color to the composition. Everything seems in focus, the lighting looks natural, which gives it a kind of fresh feel. It's appealing. |

Chocolateby ElpisComment: I like the stream of liquid chocolate and the lighting that catches both sides of it. I also like the composition of it too. I'm not so fond of the chocolate bar at the bottom although it is well lit, but I cant explain why. Even so, it's a good image. |

The sweetest thing.by p_johnsComment: The squirls are very artistic, the composition isnt bad, the lighting is ok although some of the light reflection spots are a little distracting. The idea is a good one. |

Hazel by labudsComment: The color of the chocolate, the swirl, the use of the hazelnuts to break up the image, and the wonderful color addition of the leaf are all great. The focus is good, as is the lighting, and I like the full frame close up. This could work very well as a promotional image for the chocolate. |
