The Beauty of Reflection in Waterby NoahGoldmanComment: The sky is the brightest part of the image and so that is where my eye goes first. In contrast the grass and trees are very dark. To me this image has significant exposure issues that detract from the beautiful view. |

Nightsoundsby nards656Comment: The highlights on the water are the focal point of the image since they are the brightest parts. I like the circular ripples. The actual drops are almost pointless since they do not stand out in the image at all. On second thoughts if you crop just below the falling drop, eliminating it and the diagonal line the composition changes completely and the focus is put back on the splash. |

Bubblesby jsolsonaComment: It's a good idea and I like the composition but the noise and lack of focus makes the image less than appealing. |

Refreshingby remarshComment: A nicely clean image appropriately toned to represent water. The tilt of the glass is a little distracting, as is the shadow. Another angle may have been more appealing. The water on the sides of the glass look like remnants of a previous attempt since they arent connected with the current pouring. It's time consuming but drying the glass between attempts gives the image a more aesthetic/clean appeal, especially for use with product photography. |

Good to the Last Dropby susanhComment: Good closeup with nice saturation of the orange beak and no blown highlights on the goose. The white blur in the top right corner is very distracting. The color of the water is also not very appealing. A selective desaturation, black/white conversion, or even a sepia tone may have balanced the image. |

Waterfalls in the Wildernessby cajayComment: I really like this shot. The composition is good, the eye flows nicely around the image. The green of the moss is lush and vibrant. The only thing I would have liked to see is more contrast as the whole image is very light on my monitor. |

Field Prepby Man_Called_HorseComment: This is an interesting photojournalistic shot. The body language of the boys, especially the one looking at the guy watering really help tell the story. Clarity and composition is good. |

Spring Gathering at The Wetlandsby KivetComment: Wow, what a view! The colors are very complimentary (thank you nature). I like the inclusion of foreground/middleground/background. At first I thought the birds were too small and a bit of a distraction but then I saw them as just another part of the vastness that this image seems to project. A very tranquil and soothing image. |

Reflection on San Franciscoby blancericComment: The selective desaturation works really well here. Even the telephone lines add to the urban feeling of the image instead of being the usual distraction. I like it! |

Leyli Duck Divingby gliphixComment: This is a somewhat difficult photograph to judge. Technically it isnt great, but it has a level of difficulty and a visual impact. The contrast seems very low and there also appears to be an abundance of water spots. The way the crop 'amputates' her legs is also a little disturbing. I think the image has potential, but maybe a few adjustments in post-processing to bring out more of the impact. |
