To start you have a good exposure, which is the most important with apes. You've got good details in the fur and face, and the eyes are shiny with good catchlights. The diagonal he is laying in as well as the wood carries the eye easily through the image. It looks like he is an adolescent so the pose would be typical and shows a glimpse of personality. The background is well blurred and complimentary to the image, not giving away signs of being taken in the zoo. The only nitpick are the white areas at the top that keep trying to pull my eyes toward them as they are the lightest area of the frame.

Looks almost like a painting! The warm colors are very inviting, has a very autumn/fall feel to it. The soft focus also adds a somewhat dreamy feel to the image also. The reflection adds a somewhat symmetrical feel to the shot, and the composition is wonderful. Only nitpick is the exposure, which is really difficult with these birds, as it looks like you've blown the highlights on the top of the body.

Hrm, the colors may be correct, but the image looks like it has a bluish cast. It also lacks contrast. It tells a story of urban wildlife, though, and you've managed to catch it as it grabs a drink in the puddle, which gives it interest and makes it slightly different from the norm.

Good muted coloring. The image seems a little soft but I can still see the texture in some of the feathers. Owls are known for their big eyes and it is one of their definiing features. In this shot the eyes are very dark and receded and you cant really see them. As this was an advanced challenge, cloning out the two branches on the right may have helped a little too as they seem to be growing out of the owl's back.

They look like two mighty mountains clashing together. In an idea world the bush in the foreground wouldnt be there, but when something happens on the spur of the moment you cant exactly control the environment. I like the deep gradient green in the background over the backs of the bison, it compliments the brown of their coat very well. The lighting and textures are good also. Only thing that stands out as being a little unusual are the eyes. The faces are very dark, almost to the point of being in total shadow although I can see some detail, but the eyes are very bright and the whites almost a little too white, if that makes sense. An interesting shot, very clash of the titans.

Good close up and nicely sharp. A difficult subject to expose correctly. Looks like you blew out the details in the highlights a little on the right plume and up along the edge of the head. In comparison the eye is a little dark, and as with human portraits a catchlight in the eye can really make the difference too. You've also isolated him from the background well.

I like the diagonal of the wood and the position of the lizard on the diagonal helps with the flow of the eye through the image. I like the color combo of the light and the green also. I'm a fan of shallow dof but I feel there is just a little too much OOF in the shot overall.

Interesting shot. You've got the artistic look of exaggerated motion blur and it works well, especially as the eye is nice and sharp with the catchlight. The blues and yellows in the image are also very complimentary colors and helps with the flow of the image. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it.

Cute guy and he's in a great pose. Composition is good too. Colors are good with a splash of color in the otherwise muted tones. Only nitpick is that it looks a little oversharpened as the white halo around the head really stands out against the blue of the water.

Good coloring, I like the various tones of yellow/brown in the shot. Lighting is nice and even. Texture in the fur is great, it looks very velvety. Composition is good too. Very sharp and clear image.
