Spring Chickensby jagarComment: I liked the creativity (not a stock flower or landscape), the humour, the textures and details.
How anyone could vote less than 5 is beyond me and the two 1's it can only be tactical voting, or a poor judge because how do they vore for the poorly composed, focused, lit, exposed shots!? - it was a 7 from me. |

Brighton Pierby nodsterComment: Thanks for all the kind comments.
I was in two minds about entering, but decided this was borderlands of urban encroachment of nature.
I was working in Brighton and had 45 minutes before my train went, luckily I had my little bridge camera with me, dashed to the sea front, spend about 10 minutes there hoping for some half decent light then just made it in time for the train!
This is my highest scoring picture to date - so thank you again for taking the time to view and vote.

Happy Halloweenby MinsoPhotoComment: I liked this, it was a very different take. My only nit pick would be I don't like the string holding up the pumpkin, but not sure if basic editing would allow a cloning of the string out though???? |

Grandma's Extreme Makeoverby HipychikComment: A sweet tender fun moment. The image focus seems a little soft, perhaps the intended effect?, I was torn between the muted tones or if a bit more contrast for exagerate the makeup colours, but looking at the image longer the subtle tones work well to provide a more magical feel, again intended? |

seconds ?by BrennanOBComment: Super idea, and original. - I persoanlly would liked to have seen a little bit more light in on your face, perhaps a relector may have helped, however the lighting on your dog is lovely and captured the textures of his (I assume) fur very well |

Shades of Greyby haleylbeeComment: There's a story here that can be drawn out of the viewers imagination, has the lady just woke up to find someone missing, or is there a strange noise? lovely soft tones of lighting and the lines flow well from the cat to the lady, following the shadow. |
