Tam2by -Bec-Comment: My favorite pose of the series, although the key light is a bit hot. |

Tam4by -Bec-Comment: Love the pose! Lighting is well done, minus a few hotspots on the face. A bit of powder of the face to cut down shine would have fixed that right up. Overall, a great image. |

Polly 2by BenComment: Here the color looks a bit over-saturated to my eyes. I like portraits to be a bit un-saturated, as they appear softer on the eyes. |

Polly 4by BenComment: This is my favorite of Polly, very well done shot. I love the expression. Lighting is very nice and DoF works well for it. |

Nude Study 4by MakkaComment: I love this shot. The angles formed by the legs amuse me. Not to mention the lovely model and good lighting. |

Moreno Lindaby SquishyBComment: First things first, be very careful with despeckle and reduce noise on portraits. They make skin look plasticy, which they have done here.
The lighting you used looks nice, although I think I can see you in her eyes, which is a bit distracting.
I know you were going for the eyes here, but when you get close to a subject you risk the dog-nose effect, making the nose seem disproportionately large. Would be better to step back and zoom more, which has the effect of flattening the image some. |

Tamaraby MakkaComment: I'm not sure about this one either. I like the pose and definitely the model, but the lighting seems a bit awkward. You seem to have adequate fill, but on the face the shadows don't seem to be filled as much as they are on the body. I'm thinking maybe her hair is blocking the fill? Not sure.
Also, the hot spots on the model's left knee and right shin are a bit distracting. I'm thinking the key light was just a bit hot and thus making the fill look weird as well. Message edited by author 2006-12-29 19:42:41. |
