A quiet swim to the evening lightby hajekaComment: Not sure this fits as sunset, but it's a very nice late afternoon shot with the soft, slanting light creating the soft shadows and wonderful reflections. Well composed with good detail in the middle greys. |

Vineyardsby HighNoonerComment: Unfortunately, the busyness of the vines in the foreground detracts from the overall beauty of this composition which is considerable. Sky is fabulous, gradation goes from black to white with many values of grey in between. |

Rays Outby youpeeComment: Don't neglect your foreground even with such a fantastic sky. Bracket your shots and combine them in Photoshop, or use HDR software to bring out details in the darkness. You missed the potential of this shot by leaving out the foreground. |

Remains of the Dayby digifotojoComment: One of the few portrait format landscape shots that really work in this challenge. I think this would have been improved with less contrast/blacks and more middle greys, especially in the foreground rocks and water. |
